On the bucket list for this year I wanted to do a Cake Decorating class.
I am a self taught cake decorator and I have been doing this type of thing for years but I wanted to learn the tricks of the trade, so to speak.
This is my first cake decorated in class. We used a butter type icing using a shortening. I enjoyed it so much.

Pink and yellow are one of my favourite colour combinations at the moment.
My little girl was delighted when she came home from school and saw this... she has a dream of being on Junior Masterchef when she is older :-) bless her heart.
Next week is cupcakes... I am so looking forward to having a go at them.

Great minds think alike, I have just been doing some cake decorating on cup cakes, it was my sisters 50th birthday at the weekend and I decorated cup cakes. I forgot to take a picture but they are all gone now! lol
