I recently visited a blog called Thinking Stamps.. On there Sarah had a cute little purse in a handmade giftbox. Click HERE to visit. I found this very inspiring. I decided to design my own little purse. I wanted a quick easy pattern.. So I drew it up and have made two in two days.
This afternoon I decided to make the giftbox. I am delighted with both of the finished products. You can guess what will be in the Christmas Stocking for my friends and family this year carn't you?
Cute little purse, I have put tissue into it but it could be a lipstick purse or a coin purse. It is made from a fabric from Quiltgate.
The inside flap, with a gorgeous cotton lace and a self covered button
The gift box
. Stamps are from Stampin up. I have used a vellum for the sleeve.. the box is inside with the purse wrapped in tissue. I think I am addicted. I just LOVED making these little purses and box.
Oh and how could I forget
My Owl made from the pattern from HERE. I just haven't sewn down the wings and he was made in a rush as well. I just had to get my sewing fix a few days ago and decided to make it. They are very quick and fun to make.
Thanks to all of you who have entered my giveaway. This giveaway is to celebrate 40 000 visits. A Tilda gift... of a cute purse or a hanging heart. If you would like to enter click HERE to go to the posting. You will need to commment on there to go into the draw.
Have a good weekend
