This blanket is for a friends new baby. It is made from vintage Satin which I purchased from an auction site a year ago. I have use a fluffy fleece for the backing and I have hand embroidered a design at the top of the blanket where it turns over.

That is so beautiful and it looks so soft for a new baby. I love the soft green of the binding, was it awful to put on? Your little grub roses are the prettiest, clever you.
