Dressmakers Dummy finished...
Hi ladies, well here is the finished Dressmakers Dummy doll. I am very very pleased with her.I have another on in the making that has a totally different face and hair. This little lady is made from 3 petite point stitched doilies...a favourite set of mine.I cut up a tissue box for the underskirt. She has a antique lace shawl and an antique lace brooch. On the base I have used an old antique wooden cotton reel of old cotton, I will add some old bobbins to the base too.For this little lady's hair I used upholstery fringing... it looks like wriglets.
I am doing our bedroom up Shabby Chic, and she will go in there perfectly.
I am in the process of opening up a website. I will have patterns available, handmade products of all sorts (made by me), I will also be selling my own designs...Paypal will be available to purchase. I am very excited about this little venture, this is something that I have always wanted to do.
Happy creating..... Lisa
